Thomas B. Walker
Thomas Barlow Walker was in the lumber trade here in Minnesota. He made an awful lot of money at it and as a land speculator as well. He was a prominent businessman here in Minneapolis and eventually went on to found the Walker Art Museum. This organization today is known as the Walker Art Center.
