What can I say? We loved this house, but the time was right to go. We sold it to a nice fellow. We hope he'll love it as much as we did. This house did a lot for us beyond just keeping the rain out of our hair. We lived in this house when we got married. We lived in this house when my Dad died. We lived in this house through thick and thin. Eventually, the money we made on the sale of this house freed us from the financial pinch we'd been in for years. For that and for a multitude of other reasons, we cannot fully express how lucky we feel we were to have owned such a nice place to live.
Northome is what we named our old house. It used to be our little chunk of
Minneapolis. It was built in 1923. This is what it looks like:

We worked very hard making this place a nice place to live. This is what it looked like
in the summer of 2000.
We found this light fixture at an antique shop.

It predates the house a little, but it's just lovely. When we moved, we took it
with us. It's just so grand. It still shares a room with our
Staghorn.
Two summers ago, my wife bought a statue bird bath for the garden. The statue was called "Rebecca" at the store. Unfortunately, something broke her, and we were bummed. We managed to find the same statue last summer at the same garden store and bought another one. This Rebecca now stands in our kitchen where she holds fresh fruits and chocolates.
