'80 Suzuki GS1000L

Mercy, acquiring this one made me feel like a vampire.

My neighbors across the street--they of the Honda 550--had this bike sitting around most of the summer. The fellow across the street was going to fix it up and hoon around with it. Well, he had a party and a cousin decided to take it for a "spin." Well, the "spin" turned into a "spin-out" with much loss of blood and broken bones. The guy's allright, he's just banged up. The bike fared pretty well in the accident, but it wasn't in all that great a shape to begin with. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with it. Until I figure it out, in my increasingly tight garage it will sit.

Well, I've figured it out and I really don't need this thing taking up space in my garage. It's pretty dinged up and I can't see getting it on the road. It does run, but it's going to need handlebars, instruments, turn signals, a seat, a timing cover and a lot of other small things to get it street legal. I do not have the title, but the plates have been tabbed in the last couple of years, so taking care of this won't be such a big problem. If you're interested, let me know.
