Yes, this is a pretty impressive stack of beer cases. However, this is the remains of about 9 months of beer consumption by two thirsty college kids. We also threw a few parties along the way, so even though there are a lot of cases here--I think around 30--we didn't drink all that beer. We had some help.
Today, I still drink, but not even close to the extent I used to. I might have a beer sometime in the evening. If I have any more than 2 I can feel it the next morning. I don't get out of bed very well in the best of situations and drinking the night before makes it much worse.
I brew beer with my friend Jon. He has all of the stuff to brew beer at his place, but I can see myself brewing at my house in a few years. It's just a matter of money.
I like red wine. I like Zinfandels, Cabernet Sauvingons and Barberas. I usually buy in the $10 to $12 price range, but I will occasionally splurge and get something really nice.
As for hard liquor, the cheap stuff is just too painful to drink. I prefer single barrel burbons over scotch, but I enjoy them both. Good vodka and rum are great to mix with. I'm very leery of gin, but my wife makes an excellent Gin and Tonic and she's really good at Martinis.
