1979 Can-Am 175 Qualifier II Dirt Bike
Cool little dirt bike. It is a ’79 Qualifier 175. I got it for free when I heard this guy was talking at a party about his dead dirtbike. Turns out he had stood on the kickstarter when there was liquid gas in the combustion chamber. This turned the connecting rod into a nice “S” shape rather than the straight arrow it needs to be. I was able to find a motor on the internet and have finally secured it. I’ll be installing it and getting it running this spring, so I can’t wait to hit the trails.
